At the Texas Music Workforce Coalition, we have three key programs to help you in your career:
- Education and Training
- Production Workshops – to be held at various venues in the Austin area. These multiple day workshops will feature hands-on learning in various aspects of event and festival production, including: audio, lighting, video, safety, rigging, power, backline, and much more.
- Shadowing at Local Venues – in conjunction with supporting venues, participants will be given the rare opportunity to observe and ask questions to a dedicated Live Event Host as an event unfolds in real time.
- Virtual Courses – some courses will also have a virtual option, so you can learn from anywhere.

- Employment Opportunities
- The TMWC Jobs Board – registered members can post jobs, and anyone can view them. Our goal with this is to highlight roles that aren’t usually posted in event and festival groups but utilize transferable skills that many of us have.

- Community Engagement
- Event Consulting – TMWC, made up of four industry veterans with a combined experience of 70+ years, is happy to provide consulting services for your upcoming event.
- Resume Building – TMWC has both tools to help you enhance your resume in addition to a staff of qualified Resume Revisionists who will work directly with you in honing your cover letters, resumes, and other related documents.
- Career Counseling – TMWC provides qualified staff to help you discuss your career goals and formulate a game plan to get you there.
